Aspiring Software Engineer | Bachelors of Science in Computer Science at Siena University

About Me

I am a fourth-year student at Siena University pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. I'm eager to become a software engineer and design mobile apps and web applications. My time at Siena has allowed me to develop efficient programming practices and build a strong foundation in programming languages, while my role at a grocery store has shaped my skills in teamwork. I am looking for jobs in the software engineering field.

Projects

Fitzo
Fitzo

Fitzo is an app that I am currently developing in Swift. This app will allow users to create workout plans, track workout insights, earn achievements, and chat with friends. I am building Fitzo to apply my skills in mobile app development and create a polished, user-friendly product.

Drinksity
Drinksity

Drinksity is a Swift-based mobile app developed in Xcode that simplifies the process of adding and managing drinks and events by producers. Producers can monitor the performance of their drinks and events through a built-in analytics feature, powered by user ratings and bar favorites. For this app, I collaborate closely with the cross-functional Scrum team to deliver high-quality increments each sprint.

Planner
Planner

For this project, I built a full-stack web application using HTML and Javascript to help me organize my homework, events, and class schedules. My goal for this project is to simplify daily planning and enhance productivity. I integrated MongoDB as a backend to reliably store and manage user data to improve consistency and enabling seamless access across the platform.

Chatbot
Chatbot

A web application built with JavaScript and HTML, featuring interactive widgets powered by a range of APIs. This web app has an integrated chatbot capable of responding to user inputs with both Text-to-Speech and Speech-to-Text functionality.

Fitness Database
Fitness Database

This is a SQL database on Oracle with a goal of helping users track workout and fitness goals. I focused on creating a structure that made it easy to understand user progress and exercise data. I learned how to improve queries to make retrieving information faster and more efficient to support better insights into user habits and goal achievement.

Repository
Dijkstra's
Dijkstra's Algorithm Study

I worked with a team to parallelize Dijkstra's algorithm using Java threads, with a goal of reducing computation time when calculating shortest paths across large graph datasets. We designed and executed performance tests on multiple graph structures to evaluate speed improvements and path accuracy, highlighting how parallel processing can improve efficiency in real-world routing and optimization problems.

Stroke Prediction
Predicting Strokes

I collaborated with a team to develop visualizations and to interpret model predictions on strokes using Python and machine learning. Conducted extensive evaluation using metrics such as accuracy, precision, recall and F1-Score to validate model performances.
